Hey fellow Diablo fans! Let’s dive into the rich history of Sanctuary. Did you know that the creation of the world was a result of the conflict between the angel Inarius and the demon Lilith? Their forbidden love led to the birth of humanity, making them central to the eternal struggle between Heaven and Hell.
Some of the most iconic characters in Diablo history include Deckard Cain, the wise Horadric scholar who has witnessed many dark events; Tyrael, the archangel who sacrificed his immortality to aid humanity in their darkest hour; and of course, the fearsome Diablo himself, the Lord of Terror who seeks to corrupt and destroy all that is good.
The world-building in Diablo is so intricate, with different regions like Tristram, Caldeum, and the High Heavens each offering unique landscapes and challenges.
