Did you know that Sanctuary was created when the archangel Inarius and the demoness Lilith fell in love and decided to create a world where they could be together away from the Eternal Conflict? This forbidden union led to the birth of the Nephalem, incredibly powerful beings with the potential to shape the world.
The Worldstone, a powerful artifact created by Inarius, was used to hide Sanctuary from both Heaven and Hell. It not only masked the existence of Sanctuary but also limited the power of the Nephalem to prevent them from becoming too powerful.
