The constant battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells has shaped the world of Diablo in such a compelling way. Each character, each location, is steeped in history and significance. I didn’t know about the forbidden union between angels and demons creating the world of Sanctuary! That’s such a cool origin story for the Nephalem. Deckard Cain is definitely a legendary figure in the Diablo series, his knowledge and guidance have been invaluable. And Tyrael’s sacrifice is such a powerful moment in the story, showing the depths of his commitment to humanity.
One of my favorite lore tidbits is the story of the Prime Evils – Diablo, Mephisto, and Baal. Their cunning and malevolence really set the stage for the epic battles in the games. I also love exploring the history of the different regions in Sanctuary, like the lush forests of the Scosglen or the desolate wastelands of the Dreadlands.
