Hey pilots! When it comes to aerial combat in War Thunder, mastering some tricks can give you the edge in a dogfight. One of my favorites is the high yo-yo maneuver, where you quickly gain altitude to bleed off speed and then dive back down on your target. It can throw off your opponent’s aim and give you a shot at their tail. Another handy trick is using vertical loops to change direction quickly and get behind your enemy. What are some of your go-to maneuvers in aerial combat? Let’s swap some tips and tricks to dominate the skies!

The high yo-yo maneuver is definitely a classic move that can catch your opponent off guard! I also like to use the barrel roll to evade enemy fire while keeping my sights on target. It’s a great way to throw off their aim and gain a positional advantage. Another move I find effective is the Immelmann turn, which combines a half loop with a half roll to quickly reverse direction and get on the tail of your enemy. What maneuvers do you find most effective in aerial combat? Let’s keep sharing our strategies to outmaneuver our opponents in the skies!
