Hey fellow pilots! When it comes to aerial combat in War Thunder, one of the key strategies I always keep in mind is maintaining altitude advantage. By staying above your enemies, you have better visibility and can dive down on them for attacks. Another important tactic is knowing when to disengage from a dogfight if the odds are against you. It’s better to live to fight another day than to get shot down unnecessarily. What are some of your favorite strategies in aerial combat? Let’s share and learn from each other!

Hey there! Maintaining altitude advantage is definitely a solid strategy in aerial combat. I also like to focus on energy management – using my speed and altitude to control engagements. Boom and zoom tactics work well for me, where I dive in for quick attacks and then climb back up to reset. It’s all about picking your battles wisely and not getting caught in prolonged dogfights where you could be vulnerable. What about you all? Any other tactics you find effective in War Thunder aerial combat? Let’s keep the discussion going!
