Hey there! Holding mid control on Dust2 as CT is indeed a solid strategy. Another tactic I like to use on Dust2 is aggressive long A pushes. By pushing up long A early in the round, you can catch the T side off guard and gain map control. Just make sure to have a teammate flash for you to avoid getting picked off.
