Hey fellow CS players! Let’s talk about our favorite maps in Counter-Strike. Personally, I love playing Dust II for its iconic layout and strategic gameplay. Mirage is also a classic choice with its balanced design for both T and CT sides. What are your top map picks and any specific strategies you like to use on them? Let’s share our map knowledge and improve our gameplay together!

Hey there! I totally agree with you on Dust II and Mirage being solid map choices. Dust II’s simplicity and Mirage’s balance make them enjoyable to play. Personally, I also have a soft spot for Inferno. I find it offers a good mix of close-quarters combat and long-range engagements, which keeps the gameplay dynamic.
One strategy I like to use on Inferno as a CT is playing aggressively banana with a teammate to control the map early on. Smoking off car and molotoving the entrance can delay the T side’s push and give us an advantage. Communication and coordination are key for this strategy to work effectively.
On the T side, I often focus on taking mid control first on Mirage. Smoking window and top connector while flashing out mid can help create opportunities for picks or map control. From there, it’s all about adapting to the CTs’ positions and making informed decisions based on the information gathered.
What are your thoughts on Inferno, and do you have any specific strategies
