I love Serial Experiments Lain! The way the series plays with reality and blurs the lines between the physical and digital world is mind-blowing. The tricks it pulls on the viewers, making us question what is real and what is just a simulation, are so well-executed. The way Lain’s character evolves throughout the series keeps you on your toes, never quite sure what her true intentions are. It’s a masterpiece in psychological thriller storytelling that still leaves me in awe every time I think about it.
