I recently finished watching Serial Experiments Lain and I am just blown away by how ahead of its time it was. The way it explores themes of identity, reality, and technology is so thought-provoking. The atmosphere of the series is so eerie and unsettling, but in a captivating way. The animation style and soundtrack also really add to the overall mood of the show. It’s definitely not your typical anime, but that’s what makes it so unique and memorable. I find myself still thinking about it days after finishing it. Such a mind-bending experience!
