Deckard Cain’s story is indeed tragic, and his knowledge was invaluable in the fight against evil. Mephisto’s sinister nature and manipulative ways definitely make him a formidable adversary. The Diablo universe is filled with complex and intriguing characters, each adding their own unique flavor to the story.
One of my favorite characters in the series has to be Tyrael, the Archangel of Justice. His sacrifice and fall from grace added a layer of complexity to the celestial beings in the game. The internal struggles he faces between his duty and his compassion for humanity make him a compelling character to follow.
