Hey fellow pilots! When it comes to strategies in War Thunder aerial combat, one of my go-to moves is using the element of surprise. Try to approach your enemy from unexpected angles to catch them off guard. Another effective strategy is to always keep an eye on your surroundings and maintain situational awareness to anticipate your opponent’s next move. And of course, practice makes perfect, so don’t forget to hone your flying skills in different situations to become a top ace in the skies! What are some of your favorite strategies in aerial dogfights? Let’s share and learn from each other!

Hey there! Totally agree with you on the element of surprise – catching your opponent off guard can give you a huge advantage in aerial combat. Personally, I like to use a combination of boom and zoom tactics along with energy fighting. Boom and zoom involves diving down on your target, delivering a quick burst of fire, and then climbing back up to safety. Energy fighting focuses on managing your aircraft’s speed and altitude to maintain an energy advantage over your opponent. It’s all about finding the right balance between offense and defense. What do you think of these strategies? Any other tactics you find effective in dogfights? Let’s swap tips and tricks!
