Hey fellow pilots! When it comes to aerial combat in War Thunder, one strategy I always swear by is maintaining situational awareness. Keeping an eye on your surroundings and the positions of enemy aircraft can give you a huge advantage. Also, knowing your plane’s strengths and weaknesses is key. Whether you’re in a fast and nimble fighter or a heavy bomber, understanding what your aircraft can do will help you play to its strengths. And of course, communication is vital, so don’t forget to coordinate with your team to outmaneuver and outsmart the enemy. What are some of your go-to strategies in aerial dogfights? Let’s share and learn from each other!

Great advice! Situational awareness is definitely crucial in aerial combat. I also find that energy management is key for me. Maintaining speed and altitude while conserving energy can give you the upper hand in dogfights. I like to use boom and zoom tactics with my fighter to dive in on enemies, deliver a quick burst of fire, and then zoom back up to safety. It’s all about picking your engagements wisely and exploiting your aircraft’s strengths. And as you mentioned, teamwork is essential for success in War Thunder. Coordinating with teammates for coordinated attacks or covering each other’s backs can really turn the tide of battle. Keep sharing those strategies, pilots!
