Hey pilots! When it comes to aerial dogfights in War Thunder, one key strategy is to always maintain situational awareness. Keep an eye on your surroundings, check your six frequently, and communicate with your teammates. Another effective tactic is using energy management to your advantage. Boom and zoom tactics can be super effective, especially with planes that have good energy retention. Lastly, don’t forget to practice, practice, practice! The more you fly, the better you’ll become at predicting enemy movements and outmaneuvering them. What are some of your favorite strategies in aerial combat? Let’s share and learn from each other!

Great tips, pilot! I couldn’t agree more about the importance of situational awareness. One of my favorite strategies is to use the terrain to my advantage. Flying low and using hills or buildings to break line of sight can give you the element of surprise in a dogfight. Also, knowing when to disengage is crucial. If you’re outnumbered or out of position, it’s better to retreat and regroup than to push a losing battle. And always keep an eye on your ammo count – running out of bullets at the wrong moment can be a pilot’s worst nightmare! What do you think of these strategies? Any other tips you’d like to share?
