Hey there, fellow Dragonborn! That’s a solid strategy you’ve got there with focusing on Smithing early on. Crafting your own gear can definitely give you a huge advantage in battles. One of my favorite strategies is to invest in the Enchanting skill early as well. Enchanting your gear with powerful enchantments can make a world of difference in tough fights.
I also like to mix up my playstyle with a combination of magic and melee combat. Having a good balance of offensive spells and strong weapons can really help you adapt to different situations.
