Hey there, fellow survivors! When it comes to thriving in the unforgiving world of Once Human, mastering the art of resourceful cooking is key. Whether you’re scavenging for ingredients or making the most out of limited rations, a well-fed survivor is a resilient survivor.
One of my go-to techniques is making hearty stews using whatever I can scrounge up. Throw in some protein (canned meat, insects, or even foraged mushrooms), add some veggies (wild greens or root vegetables), and let it simmer over a fire. Not only does it provide sustenance, but it warms you up and boosts morale.
Foraging is also a valuable skill. Identify edible plants in your surroundings and supplement your meals with fresh greens. Just make sure you can distinguish between the good stuff and the toxic varieties – a misstep there can be a game-ender.
And let’s not forget about preserving food. Smoking meat or dehydrating fruits not only extends their shelf
