I absolutely love Serial Experiments Lain! One of the things I find most intriguing about the series is how it plays tricks on the viewer’s perception of reality. The blurring of boundaries between the physical world and the digital realm really messes with your mind in the most fascinating way. The way Lain’s character evolves throughout the series is also a mind-bending trick in itself. The creators did an amazing job at keeping the audience on their toes with unexpected twists and turns. It’s a series that really makes you question what is real and what is just a trick of the mind.
