I absolutely love Serial Experiments Lain! The way the series plays with reality and blurs the lines between the physical and digital world is just mind-blowing. The tricks they use to make you question what is real and what isn’t are so clever. The whole concept of the Wired and how it connects everything and everyone is both fascinating and eerie. The way Lain’s character develops throughout the series is also incredibly well done. It’s a series that really makes you think and leaves you with more questions than answers, which is part of its brilliance.
